Li Feng and her elderly mother started their business in 2004 as auntie was bored at home and wanted something to fill up her free time. As a testament to their quality of food, they enjoyed brisk business from the start, even through the CB period. However, this P2HA period has affected them tremendously as Singaporeans are more reluctant to head out. To be able to cover their operating costs, the owners have not been able to take a day off since then.
In a bid to turnaround their business, family members have been roped in to help. Han Wei, Li Feng’s brother, took charge of digitizing their business. Now, you are able to find their yummy delights on their Facebook page or order from them through their self-managed delivery platform. If you are looking to send some of these delicious, guilty-pleasure food to your family, friends or even just for yourself, do check them out!✨
P.S: Aunty was so sweet that she offered me a herbal beverage during our chat!
We also witnessed a really lovely sight between the cleaner and Aunty, which was also a really uplifting sight! Aunty was said and known to be quite nice. She frequently cooked food for cleaner in recognition of his work. Indeed, there is never a bad time to do a good action.
If you strike up a conversation with Aunty, we guarantee you'll discover goodness not only in her cuisine, but also in the conversation. If you're there, please tag us; we'd love to see what you're up to!
